Vietnam, November 2:Nguyen Kieu Oanh takes on the role of team captain in the "Shining Mystery" program . For the 9X generation singer, this role opens up opportunities to experience music in a different way. Instead of focusing on her own performance, she gets to listen to other acts and be more proactive in choosing suitable vocalists. Along with that joy comes the responsibility of evaluating and finding talents with potential for development.
Nguyen Kieu Oanh emphasizes the ability to convey emotions and her own unique style. The singer believes that vocal technique is very important, but a voice with personality and the ability to touch the listener's heart will create a special appeal. The 9X generation singer also sees herself as an undiscovered talent. "Of course, I always think of myself as an enigma and always strive to prove my abilities," Nguyen Kieu Oanh said.
Nguyen Kieu Oanh describes herself as quite stubborn, persistent, patient, and hardworking in her profession. For the singer, her artistic journey has never been just about memorable achievements, but also includes many challenges that require perseverance. She believes she can still achieve even greater breakthroughs if she continues to strive and constantly improve herself.
I once wanted to stop because I felt so uncertain.
Nguyen Kieu Oanh's love for music began in childhood, when she won a top prize in a local singing competition. Instead of pursuing a different profession, Nguyen Kieu Oanh was determined to follow her passion for music. Her efforts and subsequent achievements helped her family better understand her decision, gradually leading them to offer more support for her chosen artistic path.
However, that journey also had its difficult times. Nguyen Kieu Oanh revealed that she once thought about quitting when she felt lonely, uncertain, and didn't receive any help or encouragement. The singer confided: "Sometimes, I did think about giving up. But I guess my passion for the profession is too strong, so I've kept going until today."
It was her love for music that helped Nguyen Kieu Oanh overcome moments of self-doubt. Instead of giving up when faced with difficulties, Nguyen Kieu Oanh persevered with her choice, viewing past experiences as an indispensable part of her journey of growth.
Nguyen Kieu Oanh behind the spotlight
Based on her personal experience, Nguyen Kieu Oanh believes that talent and courage are crucial factors for an artist to pursue a long-term career. According to the singer, luck is something no one can control, but each person can proactively cultivate their abilities and prepare to seize opportunities when they arise. She emphasized: "Those who are lucky should be congratulated, but of course, it also depends on one's own courage," Nguyen Kieu Oanh shared.
For a female singer, success means having many fans who know, love, and appreciate her music. In return, the artist must be more conscious of maintaining their image and accept some limitations on their private life.
Nguyen Kieu Oanh believes that every choice involves trade-offs, but the audience's affection remains the most valuable thing on her professional journey. She hopes that young singers will boldly step outside their comfort zones to explore new possibilities. The singer emphasized: "Step beyond your limits. Only then will you realize that you can achieve even greater things."
