Hanoi [Vietnam], January 30: Singer Siu Black caused concern among fans when she announced her absence from a show in Da Lat due to health issues.
Through her personal page, singer Siu Black attracted attention when she posted an announcement that she would be absent from a show in Da Lat. The reason given by the " Highland Flame" singer was health issues.
"Siu Black would like to express her gratitude to all the audience members, and send a special apology to the program organizers for their understanding and continued love for Siu Black. Originally, Siu Black was supposed to be in Da Lat tomorrow (January 29th) to meet, interact with, and sing with her beloved audience. However, due to health reasons, Siu Black has to miss this opportunity," the female artist expressed.
In the post, Siu Black shared that although she wouldn't be participating, the program still brought together many other colleagues , so she hoped for audience support. The 60s-era singer urged her fans: "Once I'm in my best health, Siu Black promises to meet the audience and organizers as soon as possible in Da Lat to repay their kindness."

In October 2025, news of Siu Black's hospitalization caused concern among her fans. At that time, the female artist was transferred from a hospital in Kon Tum (now Quang Ngai) to Hung Vuong Hospital (Gia Lai) for treatment. Doctors said the 60-year-old singer had end-stage chronic kidney failure, which had complicated into heart failure, diabetes, and severe pneumonia. Afterward, her condition gradually improved, and she occasionally posted new clips or performance images for her audience.
Siu Black has gone through a difficult period in her life, leading to a long period of silence and reduced participation in artistic activities. In recent years, the 60s-era singer has occasionally appeared in some programs or performed at events, but not as frequently as during her heyday.
