Doha [Qatar], April 2: Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB), Qatar's leading digital bank, has launched a new salary transfer campaign, offering each customer up to 125,000 Absher rewards points when they transfer their salaries to QIB and apply for selected QIB Credit Cards during the campaign period.
Running from 1 April until 30 June 2026, the campaign is available to new customers who transfer their salaries to QIB, as well as existing customers who have not transferred their salaries to the Bank over the past six months and now choose to do so. As part of the campaign, customers can apply for one of the following selected cards, Visa Signature Credit Card, Visa Infinite Credit and Charge Cards, or Mastercard World Credit Card, and enjoy valuable Absher Rewards Points, subject to the campaign's terms and conditions. In addition, customers can avail financing at attractive profit rates.
Under the campaign, eligible customers will receive generous sign-on bonus Absher Rewards points upon completing their first point-of-sale transaction using their new card. Customers applying for the Visa Infinite Credit or Charge Card, or Mastercard World Credit Card will receive 75,000 Absher Rewards Points as a sign-on bonus and an additional 50,000 points when spending QR75,000 within the first three months, bringing the total to 125,000 Absher rewards points.
Customers applying for the Visa Signature Credit Card will receive 50,000 Absher rewards points as a sign-on bonus and an additional 25,000 points when spending QR 50,000 within the first three months, bringing the total to 75,000 Absher rewards points.

Customers can earn Absher reward points every time they engage with QIB's wide range of products and services, including transferring their salaries to QIB for the first time, opening fixed deposit accounts, using their QIB Credit and Debit Cards, registering for the QIB Mobile App, and making international transfers through the App. These points can be redeemed locally and internationally for a broad range of rewards, such as booking flights with over 900 airlines,
reserving rooms at more than 450,000 hotels, as well as for online shopping and e-vouchers with selected partners. Absher points can also be used to settle bills with Ooredoo, Vodafone and Kahramaa or converted into loyalty programs such as Qatar Airways Avios, Meera Rewards, and Shukran Points, allowing customers to enjoy even more value from their everyday banking with QIB.
