Hanoi [Vietnam], August 15: Phuong Thanh's heartfelt performance in the music video 'Mom, Please Love Me One More Time' moved Quang Ha, who admired her work ethic.
Phuong Thanh braved the rain all night to film the music video.
Recently, Quang Ha released the music video "Mother, Please Love Me One More Time ," a song conveying a message about filial piety during the Vu Lan festival (a Buddhist festival honoring parents). In this musical product, Quang Ha built a clear storyline and invited singer Phuong Thanh to join him in telling a meaningful story about family love.
With its poignant melody and Quang Ha's emotional vocals, many were moved to tears while listening to this song. Quang Ha revealed that he received the demo of the song while on a tour in the US. Upon hearing the line, " Oh, those of you who still have your mothers, don't be like me," the Hanoi-born singer immediately felt a connection with the author and decided to create a music video for the song.
Furthermore, the story between the mother and son made a strong impression on viewers. Phuong Thanh's character is a hardworking woman who works as a delivery driver to earn money for her son's education. Contrary to her wishes, Quang Ha's character prefers to hang out with friends and neglects his studies. The tragedy escalates when the son, no longer willing to live in poverty, begins to disobey his parents.
Witnessing the dedication of his senior colleague, Quang Ha said: "Seeing Phuong Thanh, a guest, fall dozens of times and get soaked in the rain all night without a single complaint, I told myself that as the project owner, I couldn't stand idly by. I rushed out to hug her and cried, and at that moment, the tears and pain were completely real. Even when she was playing the role of someone unconscious, seeing me crying so much, Thanh still patted my back to comfort me. Her burning passion for her work makes me admire her immensely."
In addition, the scene where Phuong Thanh slaps Quang Ha is also a highlight of the music video. Initially, worried about hurting the singer of " Ngo, " the female singer didn't dare to slap him hard. However, this prevented Quang Ha's emotions from reaching a climax and made his acting seem unnatural. Therefore, Phuong Thanh decided to slap him really hard, which helped to fully reveal the shock and pain of the character.
Released just in time for the Vu Lan festival (a Buddhist festival honoring parents), the music video "Mom, Please Love Me One More Time " is not just a musical product, but also a spiritual gift and a profound reminder to children to cherish every moment spent with their parents.
